Faith Formation

As a Catholic school, our faith is the foundation of all that we do at Sacred Heart School. We support our students’ spiritual growth through:

  • Daily prayer
  • School Mass three or more times per month
  • Regular opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation
  • Designated times for Eucharistic Adoration
  • Sacramental Preparation for Catholic 2nd Grade students for First Communion and First Reconciliation
  • Support for Parents and Students who are interested in becoming Catholic (For parents contact Fr. Kurt Nagel, for students contact Cathleen Adams
  • Student-led weekend Masses once per month
  • Altar serving opportunities and training for 4th-8th graders
  • Monthly family group meetings focused on a topic related to faith - Students in grades K-8, together with a staff member or two, meet after assemblies to learn together about some aspect of our faith
  • Annual retreats for grades 6-8
  • Ongoing and annual service opportunities for all students
