Washington D.C. Trip

This Washington D.C. trip takes place every other year and is open to students in 7^th and 8^th grade.   The next trip will take place in 2027.

That one week in D.C. with all my classmates was one of the best weeks of my life. In the meetings leading up to the trip I was a little worried that I was going to not have any fun, not be with my friends, and only be going to museum after museum. But, not only did I learn a thing or two about our country’s history after that trip, but I also became so much closer with my peers. Every day I was hanging out with my friends and exploring a new city. The hotels we stayed in were very high quality and each meal was fantastic. I also had the opportunity to lay the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I will remember that experience for the rest of my life along with everything else we did during that trip. Whether we were exploring the Pentagon, walking through Colonial Williamsburg, or singing songs on the bus, there was never a dull moment and I will remember that trip for the rest of my life. - Brooke,  8th grader
