Shoe Liturgy

Sacred Heart School has been partnering with Treehouse supporting foster kids in our area for over 20 years. Our annual Shoe Liturgy is a longtime, beloved tradition at which each of our students brings in a new pair of shoes to donate to Treehouse. The shoe liturgy takes place in early December to coincide with the Feast of Saint Nicholas, on the eve of which children traditionally place their shoes out for Saint Nicholas to leave a gift inside.

Get inspired and learn about our Shoe Liturgy through the presentation below which is presented to our students each year to educate them about foster care, Treehouse, and how they personally can make a difference by doing chores at home to earn money to purchase the shoes they will donate to Treehouse at our Shoe Liturgy
