We are happy to provide a variety of different ways for you to get to know more about our school! You are welcome to participate in as many as you would like:

• Attend one of our Open Houses
• Learn more about our school and community by watching our Info Sessions.
• Schedule an in person School Tour by emailing admissions@sacredheart.org. 

All students applying to our school must complete our online application 

Complete Online Application

To complete an online application, you will be asked to create an account in our system, School Admin.

Once your application(s) have been submitted, you will be able to log back into your account to view your student's admissions checklist. Each checklist item must be completed to finish your student's application process.

Items on each student's admissions checklist will be unique to the student and the grade level to which the student is applying.

Checklist Items by grade level in addition to the online application include:

Pre-Kindergarten Applicants

• Pre-K Teacher Recommendation (completed by student's current preschool teacher)

Kindergarten Applicants

• Kindergarten Teacher Recommendation (completed by student's current Pre-K teacher)

Applicants to Grade 1

• Most up-to-date Kindergarten report card
• Teacher Evaluation (completed by student's current grade level teacher)

Applicants to Grades 2-8

• Prior 2 years complete report cards
• Most up-to-date current year report card
• Teacher Evaluation (completed by the student's current grade level teacher. For applicants to grades 7-8, completed by one of student's teachers in a core subject).
• All standardized test results/records (MAP, SBAC, MSP, etc.).

 

Pre-Kindergarten Applicants:

• Each Pre-K applicant must attend a Social Assessment or schedule a visit day in one of our Pre-K classrooms. 
• The Pre-K Social Assessment will take place in the morning on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
• Please make every effort to attend the scheduled assessment, on Saturday, February 1st. We understand illnesses and emergencies may arise, and we will handle those on a case by case basis. Please email admissions@sacredheart.org at your earliest knowledge of a conflict. 

Kindergarten Applicants:

• Each Kindergarten applicant must participate in two assessments:
  • Kindergarten Social Assessment will take place Saturday, February 1, 2025.
  • Kindergarten Academic Readiness Assessments will take place February 3 and 4, 2024.
  • Please make every effort to attend the scheduled assessments. We understand illnesses and emergencies may arise, and we will handle those on a case by case basis. Please email admissions@sacredheart.org at your earliest knowledge of a conflict. 

Grade 1-8 Applicants:

• Each applicant to grades 1-8 are invited to a visit day at SHS. Students will attend the full day of school in their current grade level classrooms. 
• During their SHS visit day, applicants may participate in assessments.
• Applicants to grades 5-8 will also have the opportunity to showcase their skills and interests through a short answer written questionnaire during their visit day.
