clay art projects
SHS middle school students showing art projects

The art program at Sacred Heart School provides an engaging experience for students encouraging creativity, self-expression and inventiveness.  Students explore a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpting, and printmaking which are enriched further with art history and the works of varied artists. Students demonstrate an understanding of the elements and principles of design through this exploration.

We believe art education is important to the whole child - it’s hands-on, focuses on a sense of achievement, and fosters collaboration. Art education allows a student to make decisions and develop problem-solving skills, enabling them to grow in confidence and learn how to think positively about themselves and learning.
