Sacred Heart School’s Pre-Kindergarten program is academic in focus with the intention of preparing the students for a successful kindergarten experience.
There are two Pre-Kindergarten classes, and each has a dedicated, full-time instructional aide to work in partnership with the teacher.
Each class has no more than 15 students, meaning that the student to educator ratio is never greater than 1 to 7-1/2.
All students applying to Sacred Heart Pre-K must be 4 by August 31st. Students must be fully toilet trained.
Our Pre-Kindergarten meets five days/week, Monday - Friday. We offer two different schedule options for our Pre-Kindergarten students. Families may switch between schedule options at any time during the school year.
At the completion of the Pre-Kindergarten year, students wishing to enter Sacred Heart School’s kindergarten program will be required to participate in a readiness assessment, along with all other kindergarten applicants.
