Living Values

At Sacred Heart School, we have six core virtues: curiosity, gratitude, empathy, resilience, integrity, and respect. We celebrate students who model these virtues through two programs.

Peacemakers

Our Peacemaker program celebrates students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade who model the virtues of our living values. This program includes classroom lessons teaching and practicing the virtues, as well as learning about Saints who serve as excellent examples of that virtue. 

Virtue Ambassadors

Virtue Ambassadors are celebrated students in grades 3 through 8 who are recognized by their homeroom and specialist teachers as leading by example in living the virtues. The program includes coordination between homeroom and specialist teachers to recognize students who live the virtues throughout their days here at school.
